The institution Sri RKM Sarada Vidyalaya Model Hr.Sec.School in the name of Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi founded in the year 1938 by the efforts of the selfless person Sister.R.S.Subbulakshmi who was blessed with a vision to serve destitute women. This institution was later transferred to the Heads of Ramakrishna Math which transferred her vision into a mission and turned her dream to reality.
We proudly acclaim that we have a rich legacy of imparting quality education to less privileged children. We feel proud and privilege to be part of the Platinum Jubilee Celebration of our school.
Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all. The school provides ample opportunities to students to engage themselves in activities beyond their books to be selfless citizens of our nation. The management has not only been educating the youth but has been generous in providing fee concession and free education to the deserving students thus helping them to lead a meaningful life with dignity. The management is highly supportive and encouraging in enriching the knowledge of our staff on the latest methodology in teaching by way of seminars and workshops. The teachers take a lot of initiative in instituting possible outlook in the young minds by practising it themselves.
The school provides wide range of opportunities to acquire various skills through aerobics, yoga, arts and crafts, music, spoken English, jewellery making, quelling and gain computer knowledge and life skill for the development of their personality and all round capabilities. The school also pays more attention to the first generation learners by providing conducive atmosphere and great support for learning. One hour evening classes’ everyday for slow learners serves as motivation and helps them to score better marks in Public Examination.
