Special functions like Pongal, Sri Ramanavami, Vinayaka Chaturthi, Janmastami, Vijayadasami, Deepavali, Karthigai Deepam  were celebrated in a befitting manner. Children were provided new dress by philanthropists. Prasadam were prepared to suit the occasion and distributed to all the children. Special pooja was performed on Vijayadashami Day to Goddesses Durga, Lakshmi and Saraswati.
