The school celebrated Independence Day in a grand manner. It was presided over by Mrs.G.Usha, Senior Manager of Indian Bank, South Usman Road Branch. She hoisted the National Flag and addressed the gathering. 

Children from class X performed a traditional welcome dance. The school band performed during the event. Class VI to XII children participated in the march past. An speech in english and tamil was  given by two of our students. The younger children from class IV & V presented a folk dance.
