Our School Annual Day function was celebrated in a grand manner on 31^st Jan 2015 at 4.00pm in the School premises. All the staff, retired Headmistress, Staff, Parents and Students assembled here. Sri.V.S.Ramana, General Manager – CSR & Larsen & Turbo Limited, Chennai – 89 presided over the function. Our honourable Secretary and other committee members were present for this celebration. Aarathi was taken to the Holy Trinity by our Secretary. The function began with prayer. Our Headmistress Tmt.R.Meena delivered Welcome Address. Our revered Secretary honoured the Chief Guest. Report for the annual year 2013-2014 was read by our respected Headmistress. The Staff who had successfully completed 25 years of meritorious service were honoured by the Management. Our B.T.Tamil Pandit Tmt.M.Jayanthi spoke a few words about these staff. Our vocational Teacher Tmt.S.P.Nirmala & PET Tmt.Esther Rajam expressed their thanks to the Management on behalf of all. Dr.Iravatham Mahadevan, a founder as well as a Chairman of Sri Vidyasagar Educational Trust, who came here for a good cause. He is too generous to donate Rs.5 Lakhs for Devi Home Children Dr.Thirupur Krishnan, Managing Editor of Amutha Surabhi addressed the students with his conceptual speech by making them understand to have tendency for helping the needy. He also spoke about the importance of Womens Education in the Society. The chief Guest distributed prizes to the successful students. He addressed the gathering with his instructive speech and valuable advice to the students. Our Asst.Headmistress Tmt.S.Padmavathy proposed Vote of Thanks. Cultural programmes such as Group song, English drama, Tamil drama and Bharathanatiyam were well performed by our students. The function ended with School Mangalam and National Anthem.
