On 5th June, we celebrated Child Labour Day in the school premises. 

Essay, Oratorical and Drawing Competitions were held in connection with Child Labour Day and students were selected for the first 3 places.

There was a speech by Tmt.H.Usha, JRC Counselor, after the formal welcome. In her speech, she said that the tender little hands of children were meant for carrying books and not for making beedis and crakers.

The students formed a Human chain outside the school premises. They raised placards bearing slogans to create awareness among the public about Child Labour and to bring home to them that it should be abolished.
